Kauai's airport is in Lihue. The airport code is LIH.

Several airlines fly into Lihue. We recommend using flight comparison sites, such as Kayak or Google Flights, to set price alerts and find the best option for you.

We'll be on the South Shore from June 9-20. Let us know if you have questions about making flight reservations. We are happy to help!

Though our wedding ceremony and reception will take place near Lihue, we recommend that you stay in Poipu.

Poipu is a popular area on Kauai's South Shore.

It takes about 25 minutes to drive from Lihue airport to Poipu. You'll be close to several beaches (and fantastic snorkeling), great shopping and restaurants, and diverse housing options.

We recommend vacation rentals, which are typically more economical than hotels. Here are some sites to use to find housing options.

Kauai is a small island, but there's a lot to see.

We highly recommend getting a vehicle so that you can see the beautiful, varied landscapes and sites of Kauai. There aren't Ubers or many taxis, so you or someone in your party should definitely rent a vehicle.
